Based in Shoeburyness, Essex, we have a wide range of costumes, props & accessories to hire for theatre (amateur or professional), film, corporate and themed events at school or your place of business. We can even cater for those last minute "mum I forgot to tell you, I'm supposed to be a victorian tomorrow" moments by arranging a late night or before school pick up and weekends. Our stock now includes two Joseph coats, one suited for children (coat 2 in the gallery) and one for adults (as pictured). Further to that as well as the generously propotioned adult size Mr Bumble (pictured in the gallery), a child size one is available too. Also Tuxedo's and dinner jackets, double breasted or single in age 12 up to 56" chest.
From Kentwell Hall to World War 2, primary infants and juniors right through to secondary and adult, individual costumes to whole productions, whatever you want, just ask.

If your production requires a specific prop then why not pass the responsibility onto our prop finding service and we'll do the searching for you. Then, depending on the item, you can either buy it or hire it from us. We already have some prop lists available on file but if not, send us a copy of the script and we will provide one highlighting exactly what items we can provide or scource.
Teaching your class about the first or second world war or Victorian times? Holding an exhibition? Then why not let us introduce some living history to give a real sense of what it would have been like. We can provide authentic items which you can actually use and try on. We have facsimiles of ration books, gas-masks, (including the child's Mickey Mouse mask), tin helmets, medals and soldiers' uniforms in child's sizes, as well as Victorian toys and games . Engaging all the senses living history is so much more interesting than pictures in a book. See gallery for more pictures.

Clothing accessories such as hats, belts, bags, or ties, and personal hand help props such as cigarette cases, jewellery, glasses, lorgnettes, crutches, canes, umbrellas or parasols can be provided in conjunction with costume our in their own right. We can also offer larger props through our props search facility. Cost of hire will be advised on an individual basis depending on the item.
We will provide you with a form detailing which measurements we require to fit the costumes. These forms must be filled in clearly, and above all, accurately.
